Airport security... should we feel good about it?

It is all about flying right? or not, doesn't matter if you buy a ticket you will pay and play. I'm not sure after all the good news about security/airport/scanners, any sane person want to fly anymore? I'm sure your dog or cat wouldn't... anyway all this gonna be paid by it's users. The video is hilarious and just a little pushed but not that much.

Well, something is flaky about those full body scanners, seems like they were all already ordered before the last terrorist attempt... so maybe it's just the perfect excuse they needed.

Blogging should be entertaining at least you should enjoy it, I did for a while with Yahoo untill it turned out bad and now this with Multiply refusing to change it's TOS. I remember when I moved from Yahell to Multiply I promised myself I wouldn't move again... so you won't find the old blogs here... they are all gone. This is a new day.

I'm quite outraged by the way a simple petition to keep our rights safe turned out, if they can't respect their users then we are used and it's not a good way to feel.

Autumn, season of colours...

Here it's the most beautiful time to enjoy a walk at the park, the trees are wearing so many different colours it is a photographer delight. The music of the steps walking on the falling leafs, the smell of fresher air and still the sun warm enough to enjoy spending an afternoon on the trails without a jacket...it is almost heaven. I wish it could last longer before the frost, the snow would turn the decor into a pure white blanket and the trees into grey and black twigs.

I did start by this drawing to make the final painting "The Barn"....

You might notice...if you look closely, it was made with a pen, I do that most of the time on a first sketch...I don't erase, most of the time I don't even keep an eraser at hand, I just keep drawing no matter what....When the basic lines where on the paper to my liking, I just used crayons and fine felt pens to get some colours going, only then I see if I would like to paint the subject and think about what I would like to change about it, this is really where it start to "imprint" my mind. From there I'm building to the final results working my brain between the original subject and the different drawings made from it. Drawing it over and over makes it easier, for this one on the watercolour paper I only draw the horizon line and the outlines of the barn itself. Then I started painting the cloudy sky, the barn in second, the fields, the trees, the foreground last.

Many already know my doodles...this one is really simple and everyone can draw a line, the secret is: start small and practice...all you need is a piece of paper and a regular pen. Just let go your imagination a little wild and something will appear on this piece of paper, repetitions, lines, curves...everything is good to get some dexterity going, as you practice the movements are easier to accomplish.

OK...I can hear you say..."I can't draw"..."I can only make sticks people"...If you want to experiment here you might find how easy it is to draw.

A good drawing is the base to any good paintings, before thinking colours think pencils and papers, now you need a subject...for a first try choose something simple, look at the object with curiosity, forget what you know about this object, look at it like it's the first time you see it, contours, line, height, curves...take your time, keep your eyes on the subject, don't look at the piece of paper and start to draw what you eyes can see...Your eyes should be the guide and your hand should follow, the first draw should be the contours of this object.

The first result might not be grandiose, but with practice you will be able to draw anything you want with all it's details.

The point is, when you are looking at the paper you are drawing from memory, you are not drawing the subject itself but what you remember of it, most people can't remember with exactitude, when keeping your eyes on the object you are drawing this object.

Try it...Only you will know about it, have fun and learn something new...You didn't learn how to form your letters in a day, give yourself a chance and practice.
